TRAFFIC SAFETY EDUCATION

Mid-Coast EMS provides free occupant protection education for all age groups. The program consists of classroom training as well as demonstrations of the Seat Belt Convincer and Rollover Crash Simulators, mobile training devices provided by the   Maine Bureau of Highway Safety.

Age appropriate safety belt training is available for all elementary, junior high and high school students. Pedestrian Safety and Bus Safety are also offered for grades K-5. Safety belt presentations can be made to adult audiences such as company safety meetings or service organization. These presentations are usually followed by demonstrations of the Convincer or Rollover Simulator.

The Convincer or Rollover Simulator are also available for health fairs, festivals, fairs and other community events. For more information, or to schedule a program, contact:
